Upcoming Lunar Eclipse will be the Shortest in 21st Century
All people around the globe will have a chance to see upcoming lunar eclipse with their own eyes on April 4th. It will be the shortest lunar eclipse over the last 100 years. It is going to be already 3rd of 4 lunar eclipses which take place from April 15th 2014 to September 28th 2015.

Yesterday representatives of the National Office of the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration reported about the fact that 3rd eclipse will take place on April4th at 6:16 a.m. It will last for approximately 5 minutes.

It is also noted that lunar eclipse can be observed practically from all major part of the US territory as well as in the West of South America where first stages of the eclipse will be seen before the sunrise when Earth shadow will close part of the Moon. At the same time last stages of the eclipse can also be observed in Asia, India, West part of China and Russia.

This is going to be already 3rd of 4 lunar eclipses which take place within comparatively short period of time starting from April 15th 2-14to September 28th 2015. NASA specialists think that such quantity can be explained by positions of space bodies in the Solar System.
