Ukraine imposed a state of emergency in the country's energy sector
Yesterday, February 15, the Ukrainian government announced a state of emergency in the country's energy sector. This decision was taken due to problems with coal supplies after Ukrainian radicals blocked railway traffic with the Donbas.

As a result of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman he said that decision was made, a power outage will occur only in extreme cases, and this will be informed in advance.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman in accessing the radicals say that you need to unlock the supply of coal, because it will affect both the Ukrainian citizens and on the economy as a whole. Groisman also already addressed in the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine with a request to consider the release of the Donbass coal supplies. But the results of these requests yet.

Recall energy blockade of Donbass Ukrainian radicals has been going on for about two weeks. Blockade organizers blocked the movement of freight by rail on the line several cities controlled by Ukraine. And, as a result, the country faced a real threat of an emergency situation and the prospect of disconnection of electricity supply in winter.
