Two Traffic Accidents in Nizhny Novgorod Region: More than 17 People Injured

March 16ht turned out to be rather unfortunate day for citizens of Nizhny Novgorod region. Horrible accident with passenger buses took place. As a result 2 people died and 17 were injured.

According to information provided by Traffic Police Department of Nizhny Novgorod region PAZ passenger bus driver was not able to handle with control of the vehicle and collided with two other buses. The incident happened at 2 p.m. More than 10 passengers got injures and wounds of different type. It has become evident that the accident resulted in the fact that driver was collecting money from passengers while driving the bus. It could be the main reason why he was not able to handle with steering wheel. However representatives of traffic police have not confirmed this version of accident yet.

An hour before this incident another traffic accident took place near Dzershinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region. IVECO minivan turned over on 386th kilometer of Moscow-Ufa highway. According to preliminary information driver was transporting passenger from Nizhny Novgorod to Dzershinsk. He was not able to handle with control and the bus turned over. As a result 7people were injured and two people died. There are several versions of the accident. One version says that driver could fall asleep on the road.
