Train hit a Teenager in Nizhny Novgorod Region

Fatal incident has taken place in Dzershinsk, Nizhny Novgorod region. A train hit 14-year old boy who died on the spot. The information has been provided by the Transport Investigation Department of Nizhny Novgorod region.

In accordance with information provided by the Department the incident has taken place at 5:30 p.m. on the 409th kilometer of railway track which connect Nizhny Novgorod and Gorohovets. Teenager was crossing the railways without any notice of semaphore prohibition lights. He was also wearing earphones. That is why he could not hear a warning signal of the closing train.

Investigation Department has initiated special examination that will help to reveal all circumstances of this horrible tragedy.

We have already informed our readers about another incident that has taken place on the 14th of November. 61-year old woman was also hit by a train which came from Moscow to Nizhny Novgorod. Train driver was not able to see a woman due to a lack of time. Circumstances of this case are also examined by the Investigation Committee.
