Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod smashed CSKA

Nizhny Novgorod hockey players won in a tough match against very serious opponent.

Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod has one in another match of the Continental Hockey League. This victory is of great importance for the team as it managed to beat VSKA with the final score 3:0 (1:0, 2:0, 0:0).

Yarko Immonen, Vadim Homitsky and Sakari Salminen scored for Torpedo.

This is already 5th victory in a row for a hockey club from Nizhny Novgorod. It made it possible for the team to get back their 5th position in the Western Conference. At the same time it is the first loss for CSKA players this season when they were not able to score.

The second match between CSKA and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod will take place on the 4th of November in Moscow. The game will start at 5 p.m.
