Torpedo beat Winner of Gagarin Cup, Russia
Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod Hockey Club has one in a game against Metallurg Magnitogorsk with the final score 2:1 (0:1, 1:0, 0:0, 0:0, 1:0). This was another stage of Continental Hockey League.

Despite the fact that players from Magnitogorsk managed to score first and take the lead, Torpedo players managed to take the game under their control. The first goal was scored during the Power Play after the foal of Torpedo player. Keeper was not able to stop Oscar Osala who made the score 1:0.

However Vyacheslav Kulemin managed to score the equalizer in the second period. It was rather hard for Torpedo during the rest of the match Metallurg players were eager to score and grab the victory. But defense was perfect that day and goalkeeper has not made any mistake. The final score after full time was 1:1. Overtime has not also helped to determine the winner. Results of the game were obvious after shootout.

Torpedo Hockey Club now has 37 points and still takes 5th position in the overall standings of the Western Conference. Players will have meet with Sochi Hockey Club on the 26th of December at home. The game will start at 5 p.m.
