Dating app Tinder is roughly 10 billion dollars worth. That would have revealed an independent investigation according to the Cheddar website. The site relies on insiders who have seen the report that was requested by Tinder's parent company Match Group. Less than two years ago, the value of Tinder was estimated at around 3 billion dollars. The strong increase is salient because Match Group is being sued by a group of early Tinder employees. They claim that Match Group consciously undervalued Tinder, so the company that took over Tinder had to pay less bonuses. Match Group has several dating sites and apps, such as OkCupid and Hinge. The market value of the entire company is over 15 billion dollars. | |
