Wine production fell by almost 3% last year around the world, in particular, due to adverse climate change. This is evidenced by the report of the International Organization of Viticulture and Winemaking, uniting in 36 countries, including Russia (OIV). The most significant drop of production was recorded in France, Argentina, Brazil and Hungary. Italy ranks first among the five largest manufacturers in the world. According to the report, sales in monetary terms increased by 2% to 29 billion euros, but decreased in quantity by 1.2%.
