The ruble declined after oil prices
The dollar and the euro strengthened in early trading on the Moscow exchange. The ruble fell against the bi-currency basket amid falling oil prices.

The first transactions in U.S. dollar were held at ETS for of 56.95-57,05 RUB In the first minutes of trading, the exchange rate was at 56.99. (was 7.5 kopecks above the previous close).

The euro was 62,21 RUB (16.5 kopecks above the previous close). Dual currency basket value increased by 11.55 kopecks to RUB of 59.34

The dollar has been by 1.4 kopecks above the level of the current official exchange rate of euro 16.1 kopecks higher than the official rate.

The cost of July futures for Brent crude on London's ICE Futures exchange at 10:02 Moscow time have decreased on 0,27% - to $51,38 per barrel. Futures price for WTI crude oil for June on the electronic trading on the new York Mercantile exchange (NYMEX) by this time has fallen on 0,41% - to $48,64 dollars per barrel.
