The report on military expenditures of the USA and Russia
In the past year, military spending in the world increased by 0.4 percent compared to 2015 year and amounted to 1686 billion. It is reported TASS citing a report of the Stockholm international Institute for peace studies (SIPRI).

According to the study, leaders in this region of the United States, China and Russia. Washington has spent on the military in 2016 611 billion (an increase of 1.7 percentage points). The costs of Beijing's defense amounted to 215 billion dollars (an increase of 5.4 percentage points). Moscow sent last year to the military 69,2 billion (growth by 5.9 percentage points). Saudi Arabia, who finished in 2015, third place, moved to fourth.

The SIPRI report noted uneven dynamics in the sale of weapons in different parts of the world. If in Asia, Oceania, Central and Eastern Europe, North Africa and North America indices sought up in Central America, South America, the Caribbean, the middle East and Black Africa, they had negative values.
