The Playstation 5 does a lot better in pre-sale
The Playstation 5 does a lot better in pre-sale than predecessor Playstation 4. In the first twelve hours of pre-sale, as many new generation consoles were sold in the United States as in the first twelve weeks of Playstation 4. Top man Jim Ryan from Sony's gaming division told me. The Playstation 5 will be released on November 12.

Sony's PlayStation has become even more important because of the coronacrisis, because more people are playing at home. In the last quarter,it was the branch that set down by far the largest turnover and profit growth. In doing so, the Japanese company compensated for the loss of the film division. The low performance was due to lockdowns in several countries, slowing film production. The sale of film tickets also got a slap. Sony's turnover remained almost the same at 2.1 trillion yen, converted at over 17 billion euros.

With Sony's winnings, things are moving in the right direction. The result of the Japanese electronics giant increased by 14 per cent in the second quarter of the broken financial year to 318 billion yen. At the beginning of August, Sony reported that it took into account a significant fall in profits throughout the financial year. The company has now greatly increased expectations.
