The head of LUKOIL expects to increase oil prices by year-end
The President of the largest oil companies in the country "LUKOIL" Vagit Alekperov predicts rise in world oil prices by the end of this or early next year. About it on Wednesday informs "Interfax".

The basis for such statements was the result of the meeting of representatives of oil-producing countries in Doha on April 17. Alekperov called a good sign the price level in the 40-42 dollar even after the negative outcome of the negotiations. According to him, the price bottom at $ 30 / barrel are found by the end or early next year we can count on the increase of the world prices for oil to 50 dollars. The head of LUKOIL also said that despite the actual failure of the first negotiation, talk about the freezing of oil production should continue to limit further collapse of the market.

Negotiations in the Qatari capital Doha, the last 17 April, had to put an end to the question of freezing of oil production at the January level. It was expected that the representatives of producing countries will sign an agreement that will help to keep world prices for hydrocarbons. However, Saudi Arabia has refused to freeze without the participation of Iran, whose representatives at the meeting did not come. After the announcement of negotiations, the price fell to $ 40,16 per barrel of Brent.
