The growth of the French economy slowed down
Economic growth in France declined in the first quarter to 0.3%, 0.1%, below economists ' expectations.

The consumer confidence index, which grew from 2015, has fallen to the level of 2007. According to some observers, this may be due to uncertainty about the outcome of the presidential election.

The French are also spent less money on heating during the winter months due to relatively warm weather. French exports dropped 0.7 percent compared to the fourth quarter of last year.

On the other hand, investment growth accelerated to 0.9%, 0.3% more than in the previous quarter.

According to the forecast of the Bank of France, the year the French economy could grow by 1.3 percent, equaling the growth rate of the economy.
