The Foreign Ministry responded to the statement on the prohibition of the "Nord stream-2"
This was stated by the Director of the second European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Neverov. "We treat this project as a mutually beneficial purely commercial project, I hope that there will be a purely commercial logic, without adulteration of any political factors", - quotes the words of a diplomat RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Russia's permanent representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov said that Copenhagen may sue the European Commission in connection with the construction of the pipeline "Nord stream-2". Concerns have arisen after the Minister for climate, energy and public utilities of Denmark Lars Christian Lilleholt expressed a desire to block the project.

The construction of "Nord stream-2" must be completed in 2019, the pipeline will run under the Baltic sea. For this project we need a resolution of five countries: Russia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany.
