The flow of foreign tourists coming to Russia fell by a third. According to experts, the reasons for this quite a lot, first and foremost, the development of tourism prevent bad publicity and the image of a closed country.

Specialists of Rosstat say that in the first quarter of this year, Russia was committed a little over three million inbound tourist trips, that at least thirty percent less than in the first quarter of last year, when Russia was visited by five million foreign tourists.

For example, the number of Ukrainian citizens who come to Russia for work, was reduced by 245 thousand people, the number of citizens of Kazakhstan to 599 thousand.
