The European Union has extended sanctions for another six months
Today it became known that the Council of the European Union extended sanctions against Russia. About it reports a press-service of the EU.

The validity of restrictions extended for a further 6 months until September 15, 2017. In the "black list" of the EU is
150 citizens of Russia and Ukraine, and 37 organizations. These people and companies accused of involvement in the undermining of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Fall under the restrictions of the EU physical and legal persons are deprived of the opportunity of going to countries of a United Europe. Their assets stored in banks of the Western States are frozen.

Recall, the EU imposed sanctions against Russian Federation Mar 17, 2014. It was a response to the annexation of our country is Ukrainian Crimea. The last time the restrictions were extended in the fall of 2016.
