The European Commission has raised its forecast for oil prices this year
The European Commission released the spring economic forecasts which raised its estimate of average world prices of Brent crude oil in the current year. According to the updated data, the forecast for 2016 has increased by almost fifteen percent from 35.8 per barrel in its winter forecast, to $ 41.07. At the same time, significantly increased and the forecast for next year: if before it was 42.5 dollars per barrel, but now experts predict $ 45.95.

In the documents of the European Commission it is noted that the improvement of the forecast became possible due to a slight reduction in oil supplies by some producing countries. The growth of Iranian production had no significant influence on global volumes of "black gold". At the same time, the high level of world stocks and fears relative to the rapid economic growth of developing countries will continue to exert pressure on world oil prices.
