The Cost of Railway Tickets in Russia will be 5% higher in 2015
Railway tickets will cost more from the beginning of 2015. The increase will be different in according with the class of the ticket. Russian will have to pay 10% more for ordinary seats while the price of tickets in sleeping cars will be 5% higher. Such official statement was made by the Head of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin.

He paid attention to the fact that regular seat ticket price is regulated by the Federal Service in accordance with existing tariffs. At the same time cost of tickets in sleeping cars will be governed by Federal Passenger Company.

We have already informed our readers about the fact that State Duma Committee has already approved of new tax rates in trading and retail sphere. Moreover State Duma Committee has introduced new project of bill that was accepted in the second reading. This bill considers changes in existing tax rates which have already been made in Tax Code of Russian Federation.

City tax is only set for the trading objects and it will not increase the level of tax based on payment system. This tax is also established towards objects of stationary trading with the exception of points near gas stations. It will not also be related to non-stationary trading chains and selling products directly from warehouses. However tax changes include new rates for hotels, cafes and restaurants and transporting services.
