Premier is always a great holiday. However a unique performance will take place on the 18th of December. This is the first time operetta will be shown in Nizhny Novgorod. The main event of the evening is the opportunity to visit benefit performance of Russian People’s Artist Larisa Zyryanova. She will also play a part of Madam Caroline. A part of Mister X will be played by another popular Russian artist Dmitry Suhanov.

“Dear friends! I will be really glad if you are fascinated with this play. I do hope it will bring happiness, hope and belief in true love. Everything that will take place on stage is reflection of our beautiful world”, - says production director of the play Dmitry Suhanov.

Imre Kalman wrote this world’s famous operetta called “The Circus Princess” in 1925. He was deep in thoughts about circus while creating this piece of art. The author was inspired by horsemen in masks. One of those horsemen was a famous Russian aristocrat who hid his face because of the embarrassment while being on public. “I have already composed operettas which take place inside or near the theatres. Now I want to compose operetta which takes place in circus”, -said the author.
