The leadership of the largest Italian airline Alitalia starts bankruptcy proceedings. Previously almost 70% of employees Alitalia in the course of corporate referendum is not supported consistent with the government's intervention plan for the removal of the company from the crisis, which assumed, in particular, layoffs and salary reductions as well as investments in the amount of two billion euros.

The press release the company shows that the failure of the restructuring plan makes it impossible for the shareholders ' investments.

Last week the Minister of Economic Development of Italy Carlo Kalenda said that the government will allocate about 400 million euros for the period of the emergency management Alitalia.
