Thailand and Russia intend to increase trade five times

Thailand intends to increase the volume of trade with Russia five times over the next five years. It is reported by the newspaper The Nation, citing Minister of Commerce of Thailand Apiradee Lantapan.

As transfers the edition, the delegation of the Prime Minister of Thailand prayut Chan-o-cha arrived in our country to participate in the business dialogue with representatives of Russian and Thai companies.

At the request of the Secretary General of the national Bureau of investment of Thailand Hirani Zucchini, the delegation will try to persuade Russian businessmen to invest in the economy of Thailand.

She stressed that our country has great potential in the field of scientific and technological progress and innovation.

It is reported that the negotiation process will be considered the issues of bilateral trade, investments, cooperation initiatives between Thailand and the Eurasian economic Union and the development of trade-economic relations between Russia and ASEAN.

Earlier it became known that the Prime Minister of the country Dmitry Medvedev has invited Thailand to join the free trade zone with the EEU.
