Tesla's production figures for the fourth and therefore final quarter of 2019 have been announced. The brand has gone a long way. The fourth quarter was good for the production of 104,891 new Teslas. The brand eventually managed to deliver 112,000 cars between October and December. The total delivery counter for 2019 therefore comes to 367,500 vehicles. That is a 50 percent increase in percentage and is in line with Tesla's previous expectations. The brand wanted to deliver between 360,000 and 400,000 new cars in 2019. Especially the Model 3 rolled off the production line. In the last quarter there were namely 86,958, compared to 17,933 Models X and S. For this year the expectation is a lot higher. The new Chinese Gigafactory in Shanghai is partly responsible for this. Every week, 3,000 new Tesla's are born there. |
