Taxi Park will be expanded for FIFA World Cup 2018 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

During weekly operational meeting the Head of City Administration Oleg Kondrashev said that taxi park in Nizhny Novgorod will be expanded for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018. There is a great necessity in new autos.

Oleg Kondrahsev also ordered the Head of Transport and Communication department to control operations of private taxi drivers. He noted that quality of service should be increased till the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2018. It should suit all European standards.

He paid attention to the fact that operation of private taxi drivers in Moscow has been arranged in a proper way within 4 years. This should be done in a shorter term in Nizhny Novgorod. All necessary measures must be taken till 2018.
The Head of City administration said that additional parking places are also necessary as well as automated traffic control system center in the capitol of Volga region.

Local authorities should use experience of other cities for reaching primary targets. Sochi is a perfect example of quick and high quality measures which eventually led to overall success. This fact should also be taken into consideration.
