Short program pair figure skating competitions have taken place on Iceberg Arena. Russian figure skaters Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov appeared to be the best in this type of competition. They managed to set new world record in short program. Their performance got exceptional marks with the overall 84.17 points. Pair from Germany featuring Alena Savchenko and Robin Sholkovy took the second place. Another Russian pair of figure skaters took the third place. Vera Bazarova and Yuri Larionov took 8th place. | |
