Syngenta and Chemchina agreed to cooperate
Shareholders of the Swiss agricultural company Syngentа approved a plan to merge with China national chemical Corporation ChemChina. The largest in the history of the absorption of European business to the Chinese conglomerate is estimated at $ 43 billion. The annual revenue of the combined structure, which will deal with the production of chemicals, seeds and fertilizers reaches about $ 100 billion.

Market analyst Jasper Lawler said: “In China, the market is still insufficiently developed.
ChemChina will receive most from this transaction.  As its seeds and other products just as good as the company Syngentа. Absorption will also support China's economic development, which seeks to increase food supplies through agriculture.”

The management team will include four independent directors. State Syngenta is 28 thousand people. In ChemChina employs about 140 thousand people, including the third outside of China.
