Steam gaming service breaks own record

More than 30 million people were online on Steam on Sunday. With that, the gaming platform has broken its own record, according to figures.

The record was set at 16: 00 (CET). At that time, 30,032,005 Steam users were online at the same time, of whom more than 8.5 million were actually gaming.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was the most popular game at the time. More than a million users were playing the game. Dota 2 was in second place with about 750,000 players.

It is the first time that more than 30 million Steam users were online at the same time. The previous record dates back to the end of March. At that time, 29.98 million users were online at the same time.
