Sold-Out of Russian Films on Berlin Film Festival
65th annual Berlin Film Festival is taking place in Germany. This event always attracts a lot of attention. It was launched in 1951. This year it will take place on the 15th of February.

More than 20 new movies are presented on the festival. Some Russian films are among them. The opening night of the event was arranged in Berlinale Palace on the 5th of February. Isabel Coixet's 'Nobody Wants the Night' kicked off the festival. It tells story of a very strong and independent woman.

In accordance with some web and media sources Russian films turned out to be extremely popular. There were no free seats. All tickets were sold out in advance. The list of movies includes Natalia Kudryashova’s “Pioneers-Heroes”, Andrey Zaitsev’s “14+” and Ella Manzheyeva “Seagulls”.

The main participant of the head program is Alexey Garman Jr. with his film called “Under Electric Cloud”. It is included in the list of main nominators which include another 18 films. Golden Bear is the main award of Berlin Film Festival.

The last Russian film which won this award was Sergey Ovcharov ‘s “The Labors of Hercules” in 1999.
