Share of innovative products is increased up to 15% in Nizhny Novgorod region, Russia

Acting Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev has visited one of the largest enterprises, which is called “Krasny Yakor”. This enterprise is specialized in industrial chains production as well as lifting slings and other necessary products. The overall production volume will be 1.5 times higher with the help of modern and innovative technologies. At the same time Shantsev spoke about the industrial rates and its level in the region. The overall industry volume was 1.8% during the period between January and July 2014. Such rate is not very high. On the other hand there is a great chance to improve it in the second half-year of 2014. This will help to increase industrial growth up to 4.1% in accordance with “Strategy 2020” program by the end of the year. He also paid attention to the fact that share of innovative products is 10% in the region at the moment. That is why clear targets have been set in accordance with “Strategy 2020” program. This rate should be 15% by 2016.
