The new administration of U.S. President Donald Trump the center of attention of Finance Ministers and Central bankers of the seven largest economies in the world. The meeting is held in Italian Bari in the framework of the upcoming end of May G7 summit. German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble noted that his American counterpart Steven Mnuchin turns with the words that the world needs a strong United States that will lead the global economy and global policy on sustainable development. The United States remains the most important political and economic force in the world and the best ally of Europe, - said Schaeuble. Later on French Finance Minister Michel Sapin said that he and other Ministers urged Mnuchin not to undermine the existing foundations of global politics which had developed over many years and have helped the world economy to recover from the financial crisis of 2008. | |
