Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov reported about the fact that Russian universities will provide students with more budget positions. They mainly include technical and engineering specialities. The number of budget positions will be increased by 20%. At the same time Livanov added that process of admission to higher educational establishments will be corrected in view of high demand in such professions. The number of budget positions for technical and engineering specialties will be increased. On the other hand their number for humanities will be reduced. Humanitarian directions include all specialities which are connected with management, economy, jurisprudence, psychology, linguistics, etc. Minister of Education and Science noted that the number of students who are eager to study on technical and engineering faculties is increasing from year to year. The same thing is with IT directions that are also becoming more and more popular with enrollees. These professionals are in high demand within Russian economy and enterprises. | |
