Russian Team won Men’s Biathlon Relay
Russian men’s biathlon tam has won a gold medal in relay which has taken place in Hochfilzen recently. All stages have turned to be rather successful for Russian sportsmen. Maksim Tsvetkov, Timofey Lapshin, Dmitry Malyshko and Anton Shipulin showed great results on the distance and while shooting. Such performance with only one miss made it possible for them to win gold medal and repeat their Olympic success. French team won silver and Norway got bronze.

It should also be noted that Women’s Russian team has also shown good results throughout first three stages.

Romanova, Podchufarova and Shumilova were leaders on their stages. However the last leg has turned into a real nightmare for Glazyrina. Her shooting was awful which resulted in 150 additional meters on the distance. As a result Russian team was abler to take only 6th place while having all chances to grab gold medal.

The next stage of the Biathlon Cup will be held in Pokljuka from 17th to 21st of December.
