Russian Students will learn to play Golf

Expert Committee of Russian Ministry of Education and Science has already approved implementation of new program which includes teaching to play golf in Russian schools. It will be available among three kinds of sports that can be chosen by students and pupils.

Last year Expert Committee of Russian Ministry of Education and Science approved results of approbation related to new program of physical culture that was implemented in education establishments including junior and high schools. This approbation also included teaching golf. Now this program is recommended to be used in different education establishments and schools all over the country.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science said that all necessary recommendations regarding new program has already been sent to different subjects of Russia Federation.

It is also noted that golf will be available among three other recommended kinds of sports which can be chosen by pupils and students. The approbation has been successfully completed in different subjects of Russian Federation.
Experts say that the main reason of including golf in new physical training program is the fact that this discipline has been included in the Olympic program.
