Russian scientists have developed a drug based on the world's strongest poison
Scientists from the Novosibirsk Institute of organic chemistry. N. N. Vorozhtsov created drug on the basis of botulinum toxin, informs TASS with reference to the publication of Russian Academy of Sciences "Science in Siberia".

Background: botulinum Toxin the strongest organic poison and one of the most poisonous substances in the world causing muscle paralysis, inhibition of the heart and brain.

In spite of this the preparations based on it are used to relieve various pain syndromes, relief of migraines, and even for smoothing facial wrinkles.

Based on the venom drug will help doctors during operations on the heart to treat the arrhythmia.

Research conducted by scientists-developers have shown that the drug works in the place where was directly introduced injection without damaging other tissues and organs.

It is worth noting that scientists also plan to use a new drug for the treatment of teak. Trials of a new drug will be held later this year.
