Russian Regions will get more than $1 Billion for Construction of Sports Facilities and Objects

The Head of the Ministers Cabinet ordered to provide more than $1 billion to different Russian regions. This money is supposed to be spent on construction of sports objects and facilities. Information which is contained in the document has been published on the official website of Russian Federation. According to this document all funds will be divided between 58 different Russian regions. They will be forwarded to budget of each region for construction of 101 sports objects. They include 18multi-functial complexes, 7 swimming pools, 12 ice arenas with artificial ice, 22 universal gyms and 21 planar structures. Commissioning of all 101 objects is expected by the end of 2015. At the same time another document has also been signed by the Head of the Russian government. According to this document 46 Russian regions will get additional $85 million as a part of financial success for purchasing artificial turf for football arenas located in football sports schools and academies. Providing of these funds was considered in the federal budget of 2015.
