The launch of “Venus-D” automatic space station has been postponed. It is planned to be launched in 2025. Such information is stated in the main abstracts of report that was made by representative developer of the apparatus. This report will be officially presented in Moscow during the next week. The structure of Venus-D included orbital apparatus in 2013. Its duration is two years and it has already expired. At the same time the structure is also based on such elements as Vega landing apparatus with 3-hour active operation and long-living station which can operate on the surface of the planet within 24 hours. In accordance with information provided by experts the main aim of this station is to explore and research the structure of the atmosphere as well as surface of the planet. Another goal is to find out the reason of the fact why the planet was left without water. It should also be noted that Venus-D automatic space station will proceed with all necessary operations and researches equally to Magellan American apparatus. At the same time it will be the first space station that will be used to explore 2nd planet of the Solar system that has been launched by Russia after collapse of the USSR. Overall there were 14 apparatuses that were sent to explore Venus during the period from 1966 to 1985. All stations have successfully accomplished their missions making it possible to collect a lot of important information. |
