Russian Policeman are no allowed spending Vacations Abroad

From this moment all policemen as well as other employees of Russian Police Departments are not allowed going abroad with the exception of CIS, South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Ukraine is not in the list of allowed countries due to obvious reasons. Moreover those policemen who are eager to visit allowed countries should receive permission from their leadership representatives. Last year the list consisted of 100 prohibited countries.

According to preliminary information Russian policemen were informed orally about future measures. This is why no one pays a lot of attention to them. At least none is upset with it. This is mainly due to the fact that the list of allowed countries was never very long. They were allowed to spend their vacation in Vietnam and Cambodia.

At the same time it should be noted that such measures are connected not with all Russian power structures. Some of them will still have a chance to go abroad. For example, State Drug Control will not implement such prohibitions on their employees. They are allowed visiting even dangerous countries with unstable situation.

Representatives of Russian Police Department explain such measures with the fact that their employees are on governmental service which results in additional responsibilities. They include the list of limitations which are related to security and protection of governmental secrets.
