Russian National Volleyball Team won in friendly match against Argentina

Friendly match between Russian and Argentine volleyball teams has taken place in Moscow before the upcoming World Championship 2014. Russian players have won with the final score 3:1 (25:21, 36:34, 23:25, 25:19).

“Guberniya” Nizhny Novgorod player Nikolay Pavlov has said in his interview to sportbox.ru that Russian national team is ready for the tournament. He paid attention to the fact that preparation process was systematic. However player can’t say that players are 100% ready. There are still lots of things to do. They include common training in order to players could interact in a proper way with each other on the pitch. Pavlov noted that every team which takes part in World Championship is strong enough. That is why players need to be concentrated on every match.

Volleyball World Championship 2014 will take place in Poland. It will start on the 31st of August and will last till 21st of September. The group stage for Russian players includes matches against Egypt, Bulgaria, Canada, China and Mexico.
