Russian Ministry of Defense is creating new section on its official website. This section will be called “Victorious May”. It will be dedicated to the 70th anniversary of victory in WWII. The website will contain unique and exclusive documents. The information has been officially provided by media office of the ministry. True Barbarossa plan map will also be available for visitors. At the same time users will have a chance to get acquainted with such historical documents as true orders of Red Army commanders during WWII, presentations and reports of Soviet military commanders as well as strategic offers and decisions made by General Zhukov in order to stop German Army and its allies. This unique cycle of documents will reveal preparation and strategic plans of Soviet Army which were aimed on countering Hitler’s forces. The cycle will be called “On War’s Eve”. At the same time users will also be able to witness original copies of documents which reflect the whole command squad of Nazi army. All documents will be translated into Russian. Website will also include “War Reminiscences” section which includes answers of commanders to General’s questions during the first stage of WWII. Russian Ministry of Defense is also planning to publish addition facts which were unknown. They will include actions of Red Army against Nazi troops. “Victorious May” will be updated regularly. New materials will also be added. The will include files of different formats including videos, texts and images. |
