Russian International Youth Hockey Team won in International Super Series

Russian International Youth Hockey Team has won in International Super Series which has taken place in Canada. The final score was 4:2.

The winner was determined in the last match against Canadian team from Quebec Hockey League. Russian players lost in their 5th match with the final score 1:3.

However this time Russian team has not faced any difficulties and got a very comfortable handicap dur9ing the first two periods scoring three goals. Fischenko, Leschenko and Bryukvin goals made the score 3:0.

Everything seemed to be rather good for Russian players. However Canadian team decided to show their good qualities and strength in the 3rd period scoring 2 goals. Nevertheless Russian team took the challenge and defended till the final whistle. As a result they won in this match and in the International Hockey Series. This is already third victory for them over the last 5 years and in Subway Super Series.

U20 Russian International team will return to Canada within a month in order to take part in U20 World Hockey Championship in Toronto. It will take place from 25th of December till 5th of January 2015.
