Russian Grain is Becoming Cheaper While Bread and Flour Prices Are Growing
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkadiy Dvorkovich stated that grain prices are becoming lower in Russia. At the same time he paid attention to the fact that bread and flour prices are getting higher.

It should be noted that grain export duty will be introduced starting from the 1st of February 2015. It will be 15% plus €7.5 but not less than €35 per one ton of grain. It is also known that such export duty will be used at least till the middle of the current year.

The main aim of this export duty it stabilize the economic situation on the Russian inner market. We all know that the prices have become rather high over the last few months. And grain market is not an exception in such situation. The official paid attention to the fact that grain export duties have already proved their positive influence on the market. Its price has become a little bit lower. Experts expect further decrease in the nearest future.

At the same time he stated that grain price should not be higher than $0.15 per kg. At the same time Russians should expect possible price increase on such products as brad and flour.  They called this situation “postponed effect” of price growth which results in increase during the last few months.
