Russian economy will suffer from recession in the second half-year
“Morgan Stanley” holding analytics say that that the level of Russian economy will be lower. This is mostly due to US sanctions which involve such huge companies as Gazprom, Rosneft, NOVATECH and others. Experts are sure that sanctions will result in lack of reliability from foreign partners of these companies. This will lead to decrease in the overall economy of the country.

Analytics also say that there can be even worth variant for Russia. The economic development is more likely to decrease by 1.5% but not by 0.8% as it was predicted before.

The main reason for that is the fact that sanctions involve the largest Russian banks and enterprise. This will inevitably influence smaller businesses inside the country.

A lack of reliability and high level of uncertainty will turn out to be the main reasons for economic development decrease. Investors will not risk and invest their funds in specific projects. At the same time consumers will purchase less and will try to save more. That is why foreign experts say that economic recession may take place in the second half-year 2014.
