Russia: Torpedo won in a match against Metallurg Novokuznetsk 6:1

Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod hockey clubs has won in away match against Metallurg Novokuznetsk in Continental Hockey League. The final score was 6:1 (3:0, 2:1, 1:0).

This game has turned out to be rather successful for Nizhny Novgorod players. Everything was running smoothly for them. They managed to score 5 times rather fast without any respond from their opponents. Metallurg Novokuznetsk players managed to score 1 time only in the end of the second period with the help of shootout. Salminen, Immonen, Kulyemin, Hietanen and Volsky scored for Torpedo.

The third period has also turned out to be successful for Nizhny Novgorod players. They managed to score one more time. The last goal was scored by Alexey Potapov.

Today Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo team is going to play another game away. Their opponents are Sibir Novosibirsk hockey club. The game starts at 4 p.m.
