Russia: Sanctions against EU will not harm inhabitants of Nizhny Novgorod Zoo
Suppliers of fruits and vegetables to the Nizhny Novgorod zoo are absolutely sure that sanctions against EU will not influence product prices. They will be the same. “Limpopo” zoo media office also informed that animals will not feel any inconveniences and problems with food which could be caused by sanctions.

Director of “Limpopo” zoo Vladimir Gerasichkin said that animals eat 160 kilograms of fruits and vegetables daily. Exotic fruits are imported from Argentina, Brazil, Chili and Ecuador. There are no limitations on importing products from these countries. There is no reason for worrying. At the same time zoo inhabitants will have a chance to enjoy Russian apples instead of Polish.

Fruits and vegetables suppliers also noted that product price will not be increased because of sanctions. There will be no deficit of these products.

It should be mentioned that President of Russian Federation has signed a resolution which input a ban on import of agricultural products and raw materials from a number of European countries as well as from the USA, Canada, Australia and Norway.
