Russia: Reconstruction of Eastern driveway is 70% completed

The Head of Nizhny Novgorod City Administration Oleg Kondrashev inspected reconstruction works of Eastern driveway. He reported that all repairing works are 70% completed. The whole reconstruction will be finished by the 1st of September 2014.

Kondrashev paid attention to the fact that there was nothing but a broken road on this place last spring. Now section between Lenin prospect and Novikov-Priboy Street is equipped with modern four-lane road which is from 10 to 12 meters wide. The second layer of payment should be grouted in order to complete all works. At the same time lighting system will be mounted and installed together with drainage system. The whole project costs 206 million rubles. New road will be 1.6 km long.

Oleg Kondrashev also said that some streets in Avtozavodskoy district will be expanded and reconstructed. Traffic pattern on Proletarskoye ring will be removed.
