Russia: New Renault Sandero will be produced by AvtoVaz

New Renault Sandero autos will be produced by Tolyatti factory. This information was provided by Car of the Day portal with the reference to their own source in one of the dealer centers. According to this information new autos will be available for purchasers from the 4th of September 2014.

Renault Logan has turned out to be the first auto of the French brand that has been produced in Russia. They say that new Sandero will be equipped with the same 1.6 liter engine in two variations which include 82 and 106 hp. Russian consumers will be able to but autos with manual transmission only.

Two versions of Renault Sandero will be presented. Consumers may choose between sedan and hatchback. The minimum cost of sedan will start from 380 thousand rubles while hatchback will be available starting from 400 thousand rubles.

Producers promise that new model will get renewed design as well as additional technical features and options.
