Russia: “Jupiter” Concert Hall in Nizhny Novgorod will be restored
The concert Hall will be restored at the same building of “Jupiter” Concert Hall in Nizhny Novgorod. This information was provided by Oleg Sorokin during the operational meeting with representatives of City Administration on the 25th of August.

He also said that selling of this building was the only right decision. This is due to the fact that municipality is not able to take care of the building and provide it with all necessary repairing and construction works. All funds that were received from selling the Concert Hall will be spent on city development.

There has already been example of incorrect using of property. It is connected with building of Lenin Palace of Culture in Kanavinsky region. Conditions of this building were extremely bad. That is why it is practically impossible to sell it.
Sorokin promised to provide any necessary support in restoring the building of the Concert Hall.

NOTE: “Jupiter” Concert Hall was sold to “City-Center” Ltd together with land on the 18th of August. The building is situated in the center of Nizhny Novgorod. The purchase has been maid via auction. The cost of the concert hall is 241 million 548 thousand 875 rubles. The starting price was 105 million rubles.
