Russia: Ex-director of Nizhny Novgorod Theatre for Youth Nina Golovleva died

Ex-director of Nizhny Novgorod Theatre for Youth Nina Golovleva died on the 2nd of September. She was 83 years old. The information was provided by Governor’s media office.

Honored Cultural Worker of Russian Federation started her successful career as a teacher in high school. However her sincere love to children and art led her to Nizhny Novgorod Theater for Youth. She worked as its director for almost 30 years starting from 1972 till 2002.

She proved to be really hardworking and professional manager. She was able to find solution to all kinds of problems such as cultural, production and recruiting problems.

She had amazing managing skills, energy and talent along with fantastic interpersonal skills. That is why she led her staff to success and popularity all over the world. These were great times for Theatre as well.
Memorial service has taken place on the 4th of September at 11:30 a.m. in the lower lobby of the theater.

“Nina Golovleva will always be in hearts of her friends, relatives, colleagues and everyone who is connected with culture as well as memories about her”, - reported in obituary.
