This event will take place on the 1st of September which is “Knowledge Day” all over Russia. Detailed information is available on the official website of City Administration of Nizhny Novgorod.

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with Austrian modern arts. Special excursion will be arranged. It will include photo and video exhibitions along with sculptures of modern Austrian sculptures and paintings of perspective young artists.

Employees of “Arsenal” Center of Modern Arts have prepared an unusual surprise for their visitors. Everyone will be able to take part in excursion with closed eyes. This excursion is called “Cognition of Arts”. The main idea is to make people feel as if they are all those things which are on the painting. At the same time they will be in blind people’s shoes. It will help children to realize that even blind people are able to evaluate true arts.

Excursions will start at 10 a.m., 11:10 a.m., 12 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. The amount of people on every group will be limited. Every excursion will last for 50 minutes.
