Ripple adds new clients

According to a press release, in the future, the two banks - Itaś Unibanco from Brazil and IndusInd from India - along with money transfer companies InstaReM from Singapore, Beetech from Brazil and Zip Remit from Canada, will accept various Ripple platforms to facilitate international payments in real time.

While Beetech and Zip Remit plan to use the xVia product from Ripple to facilitate international payment corridors aimed at individual customers, IndusInd, InstaReM and Itaś Unibanco plan to use xCurrent for real-time international transactions to financial institutions, according to Finextra.

Both Beetech and Zip Remit plan to ultimately create a working relationship with the Chinese LianLian, which recently started using xCurrent.

InstaReM CEO, Prajit Nanu said that step would also help Ripple, as other members of the blockchain startup would then be able to take advantage of the growing network of the payment company.

Ripple's development direction manager, Patrick Griffin added that new partnerships will especially help customers in emerging markets.
