Putin ratified the agreement on "Turkish stream"

President Putin signed a decree on ratification of the agreement on construction and operation of the pipeline "Turkish stream". At the end of last year did the President of Turkey Erdogan. Now all the arrangements finalized, and construction should start later this year. According to head "Gazprom" Alexey Miller, the launch scheduled for the second half of 2017.

"To ratify the Agreement between the Russian Government and the Government of the Turkish Republic on the project of gas pipeline "Turkish stream", signed in Istanbul on 10 October 2016", - stated in the text of the decree, published on the Internet-portal of legal information.

At the moment both houses of Parliament have agreed on all aspects of construction.

In October last year, Russia and Turkey signed an agreement to build two lines of the main gas pipeline under the Black sea. One part stream is intended for Turkish consumers, other transit to European countries. The pipeline will be the best solution to the problem of Russian gas supplies to Turkey.
